Tour Overview

This expert led nature tour takes us down to the southernmost road in Australia, to find some of Tasmania's most sought-after species in breathtaking wilderness.

A specialist Inala guide will show you giant eucalyptus trees that tower above the rainforest understory, and lead you in search of the Superb Lyrebird, Pink Robin, and many of the Tasmanian endemic birds such as the Tasmanian Thornbill, Tasmanian Scrubwren, Scrubtit, Black Currawong and Green Rosella. We will journey through button grass moorlands in search of the Eastern Ground Parrot, Southern Emu-wren and Striated Fieldwren.

These activities can be tailored to suit your interests and your personal level of fitness, ranging from a gentle stroll within a short distance of the car to strenuous hikes across the countryside. At the end of the day, your guide will deliver you back to Hobart.
