Lyenna Cottage is a beachfront property on Mickeys Bay, a tranquil and secluded location on South Bruny Island. It offers the ultimate "off-grid" experience, with accommodation for up to 4 people. The main residence is set on a private 100 acres of land, with surrounding eucalypt forest and fantastic views of Mickeys Bay & the D'Entrecasteaux Channel.

A large living room and balcony afford spectacular views to the west across Mickeys Bay. The idyllic bush setting also provides several walking tracks that offer wildlife and bird watching opportunities. The property has its own bird hide overlooking a natural waterhole.

Facilities at Lyenna Cottage
Lyenna has solar powered electricity, gas hot water and electric cooking. Heating in the main residence is provided by two wood heaters. While the home is modern and well equipped with a high-powered solar system, you may have limitations on your power usage.

Other facilities include: a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator/freezer, electric cooktop and oven, microwave, HD TV, Blue Ray DVD player and outdoor setting.

The bathroom has a combined shower/bath, and there is a seperate external laundry room.

Explore the Inala Nature Reserve and Bruny Island
Lyenna Cottage is a 15 minute drive from the Inala Nature Reserve on Lighthouse Road. Although you are not staying within the Inala Nature Reserve, you will still have access to the walking trails, bird hides, Pardalote platform, nature museum and Jurassic Garden at Inala during the day.
