Property Tour Itinerary

After meeting outside the Inala office on South Bruny Island, your Inala guide will walk you through the 5 acre Jurassic Garden. The Jurassic Garden is home to a variety of fascinating Gondwana plant species, and a few small native marsupials too! A well-trod track will then take guests directly onto the Inala Conservation Reserve, with its wonderful diversity of habitats.

Your guide may take you through lowlands with open fields, to spy Flame Robins and Tasmanian Pademelon, to wet corners filled with thick rushes that shelter Swamp Harrier nests and Native Hens. Eucalyptus trees rising up a gentle slope are home to Honeyeaters, Whistlers, Thornbills and Robins. The oldest trees may shelter Swift Parrots and Green Rosella.

Highlights include the purpose-built canopy platform among Inala's Forty-spotted Pardalote colony, and the chance to see soaring Wedge-tailed Eagles.
