Volunteer

Our team of dedicated volunteers and gardening enthusiasts help us keep the flourishing Jurassic Garden looking gorgeous throughout the year. Would you or your botanical friends like to be part of our fabulous garden volunteer team?

We have established a twice monthly calendar for anyone to join us for gardening, socialising and cake. Join us on the second and last Friday of every month, from 10AM until 1PM. Please get in touch if you would like to join us. There is no ongoing commitment, so it's up to you when you'd like to join in.

Learn & help at the Jurassic Garden

We organise several orientation days a year, which include an interpretive guided tour of the garden with Tonia and Bori.

This will be followed by a weeding session to learn what to pull out and how. Gloves, tools, gumboots and afternoon tea will be provided. BYO lunch.

After the orientation day, you are welcome (and joyfully encouraged) to return to the Jurassic Garden at any day/time that suits you throughout the year to help with weeding.

You will be fully covered by our comprehensive volunteer insurance policy and invited to join us at Inala team events and activities.

No ongoing commitment is ever required. We are hoping that throughout the growing season there will always be someone available to drop by each fortnight and help us stay on top of things.

We provide: Gratitude, training, gloves, tools, gumboots and afternoon tea.

You provide: Work clothes & enthusiasm and your own picnic lunch.
