Rose brings an exceptional depth of knowledge to the Inala Travel Consultancy team, with a passion for Bruny Island that goes far beyond the ordinary. As a bushwalking guide for the Bruny Island Long Weekend experience, she has spent years exploring every corner of the island — from its best walking tracks and secret secluded beaches to its most colourful local characters. She even knows exactly where to shelter when the bitter south-westerly winds come howling up from the Antarctic.
When she’s not leading walkers across Bruny’s peaks or combing its shores, Rose can likely be found circumnavigating the island by boat, chasing fresh seafood, or watching the shorebirds along the water’s edge. Having spent her entire life down “the Channel” in southern Tasmania, she brings an intimate, lifelong connection to this remarkable part of the world.
And here’s a fact that might surprise you — Rose has also worked as an architect for over 20 years, designing many of the very homes that dot the Bruny Island landscape.
