Claire is one of our talented Travel Consultants at Inala, bringing a wealth of experience and passion for wildlife and community engagement. With a solid foundation in wildlife conservation, Claire began her career as a tour guide at Phillip Island Nature Parks, where she worked with visitors to share information on the Little Penguin and its habitat, working to foster respectful interactions with nature.
Her journey continued in 2008 when she worked as a production assistant for renowned wildlife cinematographer David Parer on the TV series "Penguin Island," where she gained invaluable experience observing Little Penguins in their natural habitat.
A now accomplished filmmaker, Claire has directed, filmed, and co-edited a number of award-winning feature documentaries.
Beyond her filmmaking pursuits, Claire is deeply committed to her community as a co-founder of Cloudy Bay Supergroms Inc., Bruny Island’s largest sporting club. Established in 2021, the club provides structured surfing activities for local families, fostering a connection to the ocean for primary school-aged children. With over 56 members and a growing community, the Supergroms create opportunities for children to discover their passion for the sea.
At Inala, Claire combines her love for travel and nature, crafting memorable experiences that inspire others to connect with the environment and the community. Her unique background enriches our team, ensuring every journey is not only enjoyable but also deeply rooted in appreciation for the natural world.
