Nick's birding interest started young when he was growing up in Zimbabwe, and admiring the birds in his family's garden. That interest turned into a passion and a career working with birds and other wildlife. Since moving to Australia, he has gained an extensive knowledge of Australia's unique bird life, and in his spare time he still travels the world to see new birds and places (and maintains a close connection to African birding). Now he enjoys sharing his passion for birding with other people whenever possible.
Nick now lives in Western Australia, and when he isn't guiding bird tours with Inala he works full time as an ornithologist and volunteers his time towards conservation of threatened birds including the Western Ground Parrot and Western Grasswren.
