The science of selecting, planting and establishing trees. Including tree biology 101 and an introduction to the principles of soil sciences

We ran a wonderful 'Trees and Soil' day at Inala as part of ScienceWeek.

Judy Fakes led us through a jam-packed day of indoor learning and outdoor practical skills and everyone's brains were full to bursting as they returned home, inspired to better plant, grow, maintain and caretake their plants, trees, gardens and native habitats.

Thank you to Judy and to Inspiring Australia initiative, supported by the Australian Government as part of National Science Week for making this day possible.

We are always keen to run more science and community workshops on topics that people are keen to learn about, let us know if you have any ideas for events you would like to attend.
